Wasp/Hornet/Bee Control

Wasps and hornets can build nests in all sorts of places — trees, sheds, lofts, wall cavities, and even underground. These insects tend to get aggressive from June through September, but if the weather stays mild, they can remain active until November. If you suspect a wasp or hornet nest on your property, don’t hesitate to get in touch. We’ll start with an initial phone chat and survey based on your observations to pinpoint where the nest might be and plan the best way to tackle it.

Wasp/Hornet/Bee Control

Elimipest Southwest will visit your home to carry out a thorough on-site survey, locating the exact position of the nest. Using the right protective gear and professional applicators, we eradicate the nest with powerful insecticides—available in liquid, spray, or powder form—depending on what’s best for the situation.

After treatment, you’ll receive a report advising how long you need to keep yourself, children, and pets away from the treated area for safety.

Please be aware, if bats are present or have been roosting in your loft or walls, insecticide treatment cannot be carried out. Bats are protected under Schedule 5 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, so we must comply with these regulations.

Wasp/Hornet/Bee Control

If you’re dealing with bees causing problems, we treat them with the same care and expertise as wasps and hornets. However, we only control bee nests as a last resort. Bees are vital pollinators and an important part of the environment, so we aim to protect them wherever possible.

If a bee nest on your property is causing issues, contact us for advice. We’ll assess the situation carefully and discuss the safest, most responsible way to handle it.
