Mole control

Have you noticed those tell-tale mounds of soil appearing on your lawn, flower beds, vegetable patch, or fields? If so, it’s likely you have moles tunnelling beneath your property. While moles play a natural role in soil aeration and pest control, their digging can cause real headaches for homeowners and farmers alike. The raised soil mounds and tunnels can ruin the look of your lawn and damage plants by disturbing root systems.

Mole Control

Moles spend most of their time underground searching for earthworms and insects, creating extensive tunnels and pushing soil to the surface. These molehills make mowing difficult and can spoil the appearance of your garden or field. While moles don’t directly eat plants, the damage caused by their tunnels can harm roots, leading to wilting or dying plants, especially in vegetable patches and flower beds.

If mole activity isn’t managed early, the tunnels can expand and multiply rapidly, causing more widespread damage to your outdoor spaces. This can be frustrating if you’ve worked hard to maintain a neat garden or healthy crops.

Mole Control

At Elimipest Southwest, we offer humane mole control using specialised traps that target the animals without unnecessary harm. Our experienced team will come out and carefully set traps in the areas with the most mole activity.

Mole control usually requires two visits, spaced around five days apart, to ensure the traps are effective and any remaining mole activity is dealt with properly. We monitor progress closely to give you the best chance of a mole-free lawn or field.
